"Anyone can practice Aikido, man, woman, young and elderly. From the age of 4 years old. Aikido is based on natural movements, there is no undue stress and Aikido does not require strength; thus Aikido can be practiced by anyone who has the will to train."

President and Chief Instructor of Ueshiba Aikido Association Singapore (UAA), George Chang Shihan currently holds a 7th degree black belt and has more than 40 years of experience in Aikido. Dedicated to sharing the art, Chang Shihan has been leading Aikido delegations to Hombu Dojo - The Aikido Headquarters in Japan- for the past 40 years in his biennial pilgrimage.

Over the years, more than 1000 practitioners in Singapore have studied Aikido under Chang Shihan's tutelage. And his immense experience in coaching children practitioners has made UAA one of the training centres with the largest children Aikido practitioners in Singapore.
